This showcase is all about loving love! We're looking for pieces about familial love, platonic love, romantic love, the love you feel for your cat or dog, the love you feel for your home, for your community, for your planet - any piece and every piece that celebrates love is one we want to hear!

This showcase only has one requirement: your pieces must be themed around the color green. Money, energy, jealousy/envy, Gardening, being sick, traffic lights, weed, golf, olives, Ireland, forests, Lady Liberty, Green Day - anything that you can relate to the color green is fair game!

This showcase is all about health! We're looking for pieces about mental health, physical health, societal health, the Healthcare industry, how being healthy is or isn't accessible to certain groups of people, etc. Anything & everything that's related to health is up for discussion!

The July “Pissed & Passionate” Poetry Showcase
At this showcase, we are exploring what gets you (& the audience) heated! We don't care if that means angry, inspired, galvanized, turned on, annoyed, or furious. Any piece that raises the temperature of the room (metaphorically speaking) is a piece we want to hear!

The September Suicide-Prevention Poetry Showcase
Because September is Suicide Prevention Awareness month, we will be showcasing poets whose work explores this important issue. We will also be donating 50% of our proceeds from this event to Suicide Awareness Survivor Support, or SASS MoKan, a local Suicide-Prevention organization.

We want to hear poems that touch on how the climate crisis has impacted your community, poems on environmental racism, Indigenous stewardship practices, and above all we want to hear your visions for a greener future!
